The Concorde Sun-Xtender battery PVX-1040T comes with standard terminals: All Sun Xtender "T" model batteries now have copper alloy M8 terminals with the exclusion of the PVX-340T & PVX-420T which have the M6. The Concorde Sun extender batteries are supplied with silicon and bronzed bolts, nuts, and washers for fast installation. The Sun Xtender PVX-1040T has exposed lead terminals. This change improves environmental safety. The torque value of the M6 terminal is: 35 in-lbs / 4.0 nm. Torque of the M8 terminals: 70 in-lbs / 7.9 nm. Optional Terminals include the L Blade or Automotive post type, battery terminals are available installed by adding the appropriate suffix: All Concorde Sun-Xtender batteries include lifting handles except the PVX-490T, PVX-560T, and PVX-2240T models. Temperature Capacity ratings are stated at 77F (25 C) to 1.75 volts per cell.

Instructions: Sun Xtender initial charge or recharge: 2.37 to 2.40 volts per cell at 25 C (77 F). Float charge: 2.20 to 2.22 volts per cell at 25 C (77 F). The Concorde equalize charge: 2.40 volts per cell at 25 C (77 F). Temp compensation = ±3.75 mV. per cell per degree Celsius [Reference to 25 C (77 F)]. This is for battery temperature (not ambient room temperature) and is useful for battery temps from 0 C (32 F) to 40 C (104 F).
