Morningstar Sunguard 12VDC Charge Controller
New battery charge controller for smaller PV systems rated 4.5A continuous. SunGuard uses the same reliable PWM circuitry as SunSaver and is epoxy encapsulated in a 2 inch square case with 8 inch long #16 AWG lead, outdoor rated, hypalon connecting wires. Charging optimized for sealed batteries regulated to 14. 1V, self-consumption is 6mA. Certified for the CE mark.

Morningstar Solar Controllers
All Sun Guard, SunSaver and ProStar advanced controller products include the following standard features: 100% solid-state circuitry, constant voltage, true PWM series charging, 0 to 100% duty cycle, internally temperature compensated, lightning protection, reverse polarity and reverse current flow protection, and low self-consumption. Designed for parallel operation, no need for current de-rating (25% design margin.) Operating temperature range from —40°C to +85°C. Manufactured to ISO 9002 quality programs. Five year limited warranty on all products.

Sunsaver Series: Charge and Load Controllers SunGuard SG4 Field proven reliability! SunSaver controllers are user selectable for sealed or flooded battery types, includes a charging LED and epoxy encapsulated circuitry in an anodized aluminum case with nickel plated brass binding clamp terminal screws. Designed for low noise. Models are either 12V or 24V versions. L models include load management, low voltage disconnect (LVD) red LED. Self-consumption is 6.2mA. Maximum wire size #10 AWG. CE, CSA, UL listed 1604 for Class 1 Div.
