The Xantrex PowHub is the first renewable back-up power system for the do it yourself market. The powerHub is a combination of an inverter/charger module capable of delivering up to 1800watt of household power and an adjoining battery enclosure capable of storing up to 100 amp hours of energy. It has enough power to run kep appliances in a home for several days. In adition to being able to stroe energy and converte it to usable household power the PowerHub allows discharged batteries to be recharged through multiple sources including renewable solar and wind generator or utility power if availavle. The PowerHub was designed for easy installation flexibility, compatibility with multiple inputs including solar and wind, scalability from a battery prespective. The PowerHub is obvious first step for home owners who are getting serious about backup power and renewable energy.
